I think it goes to show, for a person whose credentials and contributions to science are worthy of our respect, so long as he holds to a naturalistic worldview that doesn’t provide a satisfactory account of all of human experience, he can’t help but make statements that you’d hate to have said to your wife.

    He gets bonus points for consistency with his world view, for sure. The questions now are, for Christians whose world view claims a reason for love (1 John 4:19-20), can they 1) account for scientific evidence as well as Richard Dawkins does and 2) constantly make statements as consistent with their world view as well as Richard Dawkins does?
