SunRise United Methodist Church (O’Fallon, Missouri) has decided to include “O Bless The Lord” in their list of 25 most used songs for this fall.
Sunrise’s homepage posts the full list (which I’ll included at the bottom of this post). It’s a great idea for a couple of reasons:
1) Intentionality – It serves the people of the church well to have thoughtful and intentional song list for a particular season.
2) Commonality – By posting the list, the church leaders are encouraging their people to be listening to the same music, thus increasing the shared experience and vocabulary of their church body.
